FREE Summer Lunch Program at Lincoln Elementary
Families are invited to participate in the free summer lunch program, which will be offered from June 3rd – August 2nd at Lincoln Elementary School from 11am – 1pm. Ages 3-18 are free, adults will have a nominal fee. Contact yfogle@washington.k12.ia.us for questions or visit their website to learn more and check out the daily menu.
Summership Opportunities Available! (Summer Camp Scholarships)
United Way of Johnson and Washington Counties Summership (Scholarships) – This is an opportunity for parents to receive $350 in scholarship funding to send their child to local summer camps. This program is eligible for students that qualify for the free lunch program. All camps will be considered, regardless of the focus. This opportunity is available to kids K-12 now through September.
Volunteer Opportunities
Paws and More has ongoing volunteer opportunities for all ages. Children under 14 need a parent present at all times, children over 14 are able to volunteer by themselves with parental signature.
